John & Rita Steele came out on the first Friday Night Race and took some photos.
Lainie and Marshall Pardee with Ron Pletsch came around the windward mark first in their Melges 24, "Panic Pending"
Bill Johnsen and the "Blazé" crew were not far behind the Melges.
"Jennifer Fitzgerald" and the SR Maxes were trying to stay close enough to correct.
The Miller Family had Jan & Monika breathing down their necks.
Dave & Christina Olson with Cathy & Andy Hodgson gave a friendly wave to the photographer as they went by.
Nelli & Rudy Reinecke with Miro Kafka, Don Munson, and Brian Hays had lots of room on the rail.
The Suncoast Offshore Power Boat Racers were also out practicing. Chip wants to know what happened to "Temporary Insanity I" . Perhaps the secretary of the Suncoast Offshore Powerboat Association will send us the lineage of this famous vessel name so we may post it.
Ted plucked the unlucky Power Boat Racer out of the water and then finished the race in grand style.
